Happy 7/27, Harmonizers! On Monday (July 27), several members of Fifth Harmony took to social media to mark the eighth anniversary of the latent girl group’s formation.

“Just want to say I see yall’s posts and I love you…Happy 7/27,” Ally Brooke wrote in a sweet message to fans. “Thank you for everything these past 8 years my loves. No one like you #8YearsofFifthHarmony.”

Meanwhile, both Normani and Dinah Jane used their Instagram Stories to celebrate the milestone. The former shared a moody photo of herself and her bandmates all dressed in white, using the hashtag #8YearsofFifthHarmony and set to 7/27 album closer “No Way,” while the latter posted a photo of herself wearing a silk bomber jacket emblazoned with her name and the band’s birthday in roman numerals.

For their part, neither Lauren Jauregui nor Camila Cabello — who exited the group amid a flurry of controversy in Dec. 2016 — chose to acknowledge the big day on their socials. Cabello, however, did post a cryptic selfie captioned “flower child,” showing off an off-the-shoulder sweater decorated with sunflowers.

Formed on July 27, 2012 as part of The X Factor, Fifth Harmony eventually became the most successful and definitive girl group of the 2010s, releasing three studio albums and racking up eight singles on the Hot 100 before announcing an indefinite hiatus in March 2018. The group’s most popular hit, the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “Work From Home” served as their sole Top 10 single, peaking at No. 4 in the summer of 2016.

Since their split, all five members have pursued solo careers to varying degrees of chart success. Most notably, Cabello has notched a pair of Latin-flavored solo chart-toppers (2017’s “Havana” and Shawn Mendes duet “Señorita”) and toured with Taylor Swift since leaving 5H while Normani has scored her own duo of Top 10 collabs with Khalid (“Love Lies”) and Sam Smith (“Dancing With a Stranger”) and served as the opener for Ariana Grande’s Sweetener World Tour throughout 2019.
