Star power is having a supergroup that other superstars wanna hang with. Diplo is a proven star power magnet, and he keeps pushing his network toward greatness with a Lil Wayne remix of his tune “Genius,” already a big hitter from his power trio LSD with Sia and Labrinth.
It’s not a remix in the production sense dance fans are most used to, but rather a rap verse remix that will see Wayne drop a few bars over the original beat, maybe even a couple verses if we’re real lucky. Diplo posted a teaser clip to twitter that catches the last few lines from the Young Money favorite. It sounds like a party, for sure.
The Wayne remix of “Genius” is set to drop Thursday, Jan. 17.
