Taylor Swift said it was the “best Friday ever” after she received a congratulatory bouquet of flowers from Beyoncé after the Foiklore star’s Grammy win on Sunday.
“Congratulations on your Grammy,” read the note from Queen Bey, who didn’t have a bad night either, snagging four more Grammys this weekend, which tied her with Quincy Jones for the living artists with the most golden gramophones.
“It was great seeing you on Sunday night. Thank you for always being so supportive. Sending love to you and your family,” Bey added in a hand-written note that came with the pink and white arrangement.
It wasn’t just a massive night for Beyoncé at the 63rd annual Grammys; Swift made history as well, becoming the first woman to win album of the year three times when the first of her two 2020 surprise pandemic releases, Folklore, took the night’s top prize.
Both women appeared to have a smashing time at the distanced Grammys, with Beyoncé posting behind-the-scenes snaps and videos in which she’s hanging and smiling with husband Jay-Z, Megan Thee Stallion and fellow Grammy winner daughter Blue Ivy and Swift offering up shots with her collaborator Aaron Dessner, as well as fellow Folklore-ists Jack Antonoff, Laura Sisk and Jonathan Low.
