Welcome back, Zayn Malik. The former One Direction star dropped “Vibez,” lifted from his forthcoming album release Nobody Is Listening.
The new dad dropped his new song at the stroke of midnight.
Dedicated to his partner Gigi Hadid, “Vibez” is a slice of dreamy R&B with a seriously sexy vibe about it.
On it, he sings: “Don’t keep me waiting/ I’ve been waiting all night to get closer/ And you already know I got it for ya/ You know the vibes, know the vibes, put it on ya.”
“Vibez” is co-written by Zayn with Mike “Scribz” Riley, Rogét Chahayed and Nija Charles, and is the second release from the forthcoming album, following 2020’s “Better.”
Due out Jan. 15, Nobody Is Listening is Malik’s third album and the followup to 2018’s Icarus Falls. Zayn’s debut from 2016, Mind of Mine, ruled the Billboard 200 and the Official U.K. Albums Chart.
