Why Don’t We are just a month away from dropping their highly anticipated sophomore album, The Good Times and the Bad Ones, on Jan. 15, and to get fans excited, the group is offering up a peek into making their most personal art yet.

The five-piece band is the focus of YouTube Originals’ first “30 Days With” installment, and a Billboard exclusive trailer shows the group figuring out who they are, creatively and personally, over the four-episode series.

“We always talked about the fact that we’re not just an average boy band, we’re more than that, but we never really showed anybody,” a voice-over says as scenes of concerts and music videos from their 2018 album cycle play. “Now we need to flip the narrative and tap into what we’re meant to be.”

The trailer then dives into the making of the first album Why Don’t We has written and produced on their own, allowing them to “use our voices the way we want to.”

“I feel like I’m laying my heart out on the table,” Corbyn Besson admits in the clip. “This is a lot scarier than what we’ve done before.”

Watch the trailer exclusively below, and you can catch episode 1 of 30 Days With: Why Don’t We right here starting at noon ET on Tuesday (Dec. 9).
