Oh, the year 2000 — a simpler time when we were phone-less, ‘Gram-less and mask-less.

It was, in fact, 20 years ago that the women of Coyote Ugly bellied up to our hearts in the film about a group of vixen-y bartenders with take-no-sh-t-attitudes, ultra low-rise jeans and hips that definitely did not lie.

For all of us who saw Coyote Ugly in the theater (twice), a standout was not just the film’s aspirational lifestyle of boozy fun, but the pop-centric soundtrack.

Featuring a quartet of LeAnn Rimes bangers — “Can’t Fight the Moonlight,” “Please Remember,” “The Right Kind of Wrong” and “But I Do Love You” (all of which were written by Dianne Warren), the music gave the ladies of the namesake canteen something to dance to when they took to the top of the bar, with Rimes herself strutting alongside them in the film’s climactic scene.

Now, Grammy-winning producer Dave Audé has gifted us a Coyote Ugly megamix featuring all four of Rimes’ hits mashed up into a dancefloor-worthy extravaganza of beats and lyrics you still remember.

Give it a listen below and let yourself be transported back to one of cinema’s rowdiest, sexiest, sweatiest saloons.
