Bridgerton fans can recall hearing a string arrangement of Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You” while Anthony scares away all of Daphne’s gentleman callers. But the Vitamin String Quartet set a different scene with their official performance video.

The all-female ensemble, featuring Amanda Lo and Leah Zeger on violin, Lauren Elizabeth Baba on viola and Caleigh Drane on cello, pulled off their performance entirely from home in a new video released Tuesday (Feb. 16).

VSQ’s string cover of the 2018 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit, featuring Cardi B, was featured on their compilation album The Hits of 2018 Vol. 2. The ensemble’s first 2018 hits set also included Shawn Mendes’ “In My Blood,” which soundtracked the scene in the Regency-era Netflix series when the eldest Bridgerton daughter and the highly desirable but oh-so-unavailable steadfast bachelor Duke of Hastings dance at their first official ball together.

Zeger told Billboard last month about the success of VSQ’s Bridgerton Covers From The Netflix Original Series EP, which has spent five weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Classical Albums chart, and her role of introducing classical music to different audiences.

“My favorite thing to do is play for people in a setting where no one has been up close and personal with a string instrument played well. It’s electric,” she said. “There’s something magical about playing pop covers for people and hearing them say that it’s the most incredible version.”
