Kelly Clarkson brought some much needed warmth to the chilly Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.
On Thursday (Nov. 23), with temperatures dropping into the low 20s, Clarkson gave a scorching performance of her new song “Heat,” from her 2017 album, Meaning of Life. Watch below.
While some performers were slammed for lip-syncing during their performance, Clarkson ad-libbed at the end of her appearance, subtly proving she was singing live.
The superstar singer addressed the cold weather on Twitter following the performance. “So my toes finally have feeling back in them — that was a very cold Thanksgiving moment! I’ve been beggin’ the Lord for winter, and well, he answered — #MacysDayParade,” she wrote.
The rest of the parade was filled with marching bands, celebrity cameos and stellar performances from other music stars including John Legend, Rita Ora, Bad Bunny, Diana Ross, Kane Brown and Ella Mai.

Pretty sure Kelly Clarkson singing ‘Heat’ live in record cold makes her tougher than that certain someone we know who stays home when it rains.
