With a blissful new dance-pop tune reminiscent of their 2014 break out hit “Shut Up and Dance,” Walk the Moon returned to The Tonight Show on Tuesday night (Feb. 19) to perform their latest stand-alone single “Timebomb.”

The Cincinnati band took to the minimal stage set up with cool-toned flashing lights to perform the upbeat track, which depicts the all-too-common feeling of being wary about falling in love, but going at it full force anyway.

“Heads up, look alive/ The more that I stare into your eyes/ The more I get lost in your face; I’m warning you, babe/ A red line, danger zone/ Point of no return coming real close/ Pulling me in, I’m afraid, I’m warning you, babe,” vocalist Nicholas Petricca belted over the snappy, new wave-y beat.

Walk the Moon is fresh off of headlining a North American tour earlier in the year and are now the special guests on Muse’s Simulation Theory World Tour.
