Tina Knowles-Lawson is having flashbacks of her baby girl Beyoncé performing a stunt while singing “Baby Boy” during her 2009 tour.

During the I Am… World Tour, in promotion of her third studio album I Am… Sasha Fierce, Beyoncé was lifted via a harness and front-flipped multiple times in a row mid-air in her gold dress and heels while performing her Sean Paul-assisted No. 1 hit. But the stunt had her mother flipping out.

“Lord This tour was very stressful I prayed through this segment every night! And aged 10 years on this tour!” she teased on Instagram, where she shared an old clip from the tour on Thursday (June 10). “As my fearless child flipped 20 times hundreds of feet into the air!! I was like ‘can’t you just spin around on the stage’? Do you have to be so extra!!!”

Imagine how stressed she was with Bey pulling off this stunt during the 108 shows involved in her I Am… World Tour from March 2009 to February 2010?

While friends and fans commended Beyoncé for her brilliant, effortless and “extra” moves in the comments, they reminded her mama where she got it from. “You always say ‘you gotta do it BIG BIG BIG BIG .. to make it BIG !’ Lol she get it from her Mama Tina!” Daytime Emmy-winning actor Terrence Terrell wrote.

Another Instagram user also pointed out that the Destiny’s Child singer’s “extra”-ness was destined from when she was named, commenting, “You named her Beyoncé as in ‘beyond others’. Yes, she HAD TO BE EXTRA.”
