According to CNN, the Los Angeles wildfires have resulted in at least 24 deaths and have consumed 60 square miles of land in the past week. Over 92,000 residents of Los Angeles County are currently under evacuation orders, with about 89,000 more facing evacuation warnings.
Hurry Up Tomorrow is the final chapter in his trilogy, following his hugely successful After Hours album from 2020. It will be accompanied by a film of the same name, starring The Weeknd, Jenna Ortega, and Barry Keoghan, set for release in May. Though details about both the album and film remain scarce, The Weeknd recently discussed them at length with Variety in an interview last week.
After the album’s release, The Weeknd is set to go on a world tour, so another Los Angeles show is expected later this year.
