The Weeknd has confirmed that Ariana Grande will be on an official “Save Your Tears” remix, which will be released Friday.
Both artists shared the single’s official artwork on their socials, which highlights an animated version of the “Positions” singer being reflected in the “Blinding Lights” hitmaker’s iconic sunglasses, which have been a central accessory of his After Hours character.

The news comes two days after both superstars teased an eight-second audio snippet on Twitter of their breathy vocals harmonizing the lyric “I don’t know why I run away” from the song from his Billboard 200 No. 1 album After Hours. “Save Your Tears” is currently sitting at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, dated April 24.
This is The Weeknd and Grande’s third collaboration in seven years. He recently hopped on the “off the table” duet featured on Grande’s most recent No. 1 album Positions, which came six years after their first collaboration and Hot 100 No. 7 hit “Love Me Harder” from her 2014 sophomore album My Everything.
The Canadian-Ethiopian superstar has featured an array of stars on remixes of his After Hours hits, including Rosalía on “Blinding Lights,” Kenny G and Doja Cat on two different versions of “In Your Eyes” and Lil Uzi Vert on “Heartless.” A remix of “Save Your Years” by Oneohtrix Point Never, who performed “Scared to Live” alongside The Weeknd on Saturday Night Live in March 2020, was featured on the After Hours (Remixes) EP.
