A new, vintage Taylor Swift live recording has arrived, just in time for another weekend in quarantine. But it’s complicated.
Why so? Well, TayTay didn’t give her blessing to Live From Clear Channel Stripped 2008, released as her feud rumbles on with Scooter Braun and Big Machine Label Group.
The 12-year-old recording showcases the-then country singer, cut during a radio show performance some years before Swift exploded into the global superstar we know today.
“In my opinion,” she wrote ahead of the release, “just another case of shameless greed in the time of Coronavirus. So tasteless, but very transparent.”
The eight-track live set features “Fearless,” “Love Story,” “Untouchable” and more and is available for streaming on Apple Music.
