Latin pop singer Sofia Reyes is taking her music to the small screen — this time with a Jeep commercial also featuring the Mexican native in a cameo.
Set to her song “1, 2, 3” and a Los Angeles backdrop, Reyes’ music and cameo come after about a week of being featured in a Target commercial. The Jeep campaign has more than 500 million digital plays, according to a Reyes rep.
The commercial features Apple’s CarPlay system as a group of friends drive through Los Angeles, while “1, 2, 3” plays and sets the mood for summer. Reyes appears briefly as she hangs at a tour bus and greets fans.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles created a campaign that included several other artists, including OneRepublic. A Kids’ Choice Awards Mexico nominee, Reyes is scheduled to perform at iHeart’s MegaRumba music festival in Wynwood, Miami. Reyes, Jason Derulo and De La Ghetto are confirmed to perform “1, 2, 3” at Univision’s Premios Juventud on July 22.
