Everyone is in a fit waiting on Skrillex to release new original music. It might be a while before you hear this mysterious album the producer is said to be working on, but he stays busy producing with others. In October, he released “Agen Wida” alongside dark house freaker Joyryde. Now, he’s been spotted hanging in the studio with “Psycho” rapper Ty Dolla $ign, hopefully getting weird and wonderful with the bass.
Skrill and Ty were caught on camera by Khris Riddick-Tynes of production duo The Rascals. We know the pair were working on something, as Skrillex and Ty sit around a laptop head banging in one of the videos, though the sound has been removed. Billboard Dance reached out to the OWSLA leader’s team to confirm if the sessions were fruitful. In the meantime, we can all sit here and patiently await that “Sicko Mode” remix Skrillex teased back in September.
