There’s nothing scary about the new Kingdom Hearts theme song “Face My Fears,” but it is decidedly Skrillex-ian. The producer is famously a fan of the Disney and Square Enix crossover video game series. News broke in September that he and frequent collaborator Poo Bear joined Japanese pop star Hikaru Utada for the Kingdom Hearts III theme, and today (Dec. 10), fans get a first listen.

“Face My Fears” is an electronic ballad featuring Skrillex’s signature filtered vocal technique over a bouncing, future bass rhythm. The cinematic build only makes the stark drop hit even harder. Fellow video game enthusiast Porter Robinson is a fan. He congratulated Skrillex on a job well done in a friendly tweet.

The song is teased in the game’s official movie trailer. Kingdom Hearts III is slated for release Friday, Jan. 25. “Face My Fears” is now available for preorder.
