Two of pop’s favorite Canadians are coming together this week for a collaboration.
Shawn Mendes took to social media on Monday (Nov. 16) to announce that his duet with Justin Bieber, titled “Monster,” will be arriving on Friday, Nov. 20.
He shared the news alongside a 13-second clip, which features a number of dimly-lit outdoor scenes as a synth-y instrumental plays in the background.

The collaboration comes as no surprise to fans, who have been hoping for a team-up since the duo have been seen hanging out lately. Back in January, at Bieber’s Changes album playback party, the “Love Yourself” singer called the “Senorita” star (who was in attendance) “another Canadian treasure.” In July, Scooter Braun shared a video of Mendes, Bieber and Tori Kelly riffing off around the piano together.
“Monster” follows Mendes’ previously-released track “Wonder,” which serves as the lead and title track to his upcoming album, set to drop December 4 via Island Records.
“Monster,” which will also appear on Wonder, is available to pre-save here.
