Shawn Mendes set hearts aflutter on Tuesday (June 18) when he posted a 19-second sneak peek at what looks like a very steamy video for a collaboration with Camila Cabello.
The clip opens with the pair in a close embrace over angelic, wordless vocalizations before shifting to shots of a forlorn-looking Mendes staring into the distance and Cabello in a waitress uniform behind a diner counter.
The clip came with no caption or any other identifying marks, leaving to question where the song will appear, when it will drop or what it’s called. Mendes released his self-titled third album in May 2018 and Cabello is hard at work on her second solo album.
While neither Mendes nor Cabello have commented so far, Mendes’ fans flipped out over the surprise clip. Among their breathless comments: “MORE INFORMATION!!! WE NEED THIS!!!,” “WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?” and “Wait what the fcking heck is happening don’t u dare to leave us like this Mendes COME BACK.”
Cabello posted her own tease hours later, which revealed a bit more of the story. In her glimpse, Cabello brings Mendes’ order to the table and then they lock eyes in the parking lot, with Mendes whispering “seniorita” at the end. Spoiler alert: Camilzers cannot deal.

A spokesperson for Mendes could not be reached for comment at press time about the teaser.
