Last April, Rita Ora and Kygo were sharing the stage at Coachella. Now, the British singer-songwriter and Norwegian producer have teamed up for the dance song “Carry On,” from the soundtrack of the upcoming movie Detective Pikachu.
The video for “Carry On,” released Thursday (April 18), finds Detective Ora wearing a long yellow rain coat while dancing and searching for clues in messy offices and neon city streets. Watch below.
“Carry On is out NOW! @KygoMusic can you believe last year we were sharing the main stage at coachella and now we have the only song on the whole @DetPikachuMovie score?? So happy to share another Moment with you!” Ora tweeted Friday.
Kygo also expressed his gratitude for having his music featured in the Pokémon film.
“Growing up I was a huge fan of pokémon, and it was a big part of my childhood — I’m very excited to announce the official Detective Pikachu Soundtrack ‘Carry On’ together with @ritaora! —- out now!” Kygo wrote on Twitter.
Detective Pikachu with Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith hits theaters May 10.
