Pop goddess Kylie Minogue is today (July 21) blessing the world with the announcement that her newest album, Disco, will be released on November 6.
On social media, the icon wrote, “Are you waiting for me to SAY SOMETHING??? My new album DISCO is released November 6th and will be available to pre-order from Thursday morning at 00:01 BST.”
The statement references Disco’s lead single “Say Something,” which is expected to be released this Thursday, July 23 at the same time the album becomes available for pre-order.
A short video published with the tweet also includes the album artwork for Disco, which features a resplendent-looking Kylie in a full-on ’70s glam look, with disco waves, blue eyeshadows and loads of shimmer and attitude. Two other dance music icons have also released albums titled Disco — Pet Shop Boys in 1986 and Grace Jones in 2015.
9Disco will be the Australian/British singer’s first album since 2018’s country-oriented LP Golden and her 15th studio album since the 1988 release of her debut, Kylie.
