The Pixies will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their recorded debut with a trio of box sets that will bundle their first release, the eight-track mini-album Come on Pilgrim (released in Sept. 1987) and their first full-length, Surfer Rosa (released March 1988).

The group’s label 4AD announced on Wednesday (Aug. 1) that the special sets, called Come on Pilgrim…It’s Surfer Rosa, will be available on Sept. 28 as a three-CD box set, a standard-edition three-LP box set on gold vinyl (with a soft-back booklet) and a very limited-edition deluxe three-LP box set on clear vinyl with a hard-back book, lyric booklet and art book available in November; click here to order.

The sets will feature new artwork from original designer Vaughan Oliver and a bonus disc, Live From The Fallout Shelter, one of the earliest recordings of the band, a radio concert that first aired on WJUL in Lowell, Massachusetts in late 1986.
