The postapocalyptic landscape had been haunting my thoughts, and I felt a profound need to translate those emotions into music. As my fingers touched the keys, a melancholic melody began to emerge, each note carrying a weight of nostalgia and sorrow. I imagined a world once full of life, now reduced to silence and ruins. The sadness I felt for this imagined world flowed through me, guiding my hands across the piano. I wanted to capture the essence of lost memories and the quiet beauty that lingers even in devastation.
Composing “After The End” was an emotional journey. I poured my feelings of loss and longing into every chord, creating a soundscape that reflects both the desolation of a postapocalyptic world and the enduring flicker of hope. This piece is my attempt to give voice to the complex emotions that arise when contemplating the end of an era, and the quiet resilience that follows in its wake.
