Orlando Bloom was taking part in a Television Critics Association panel for his Amazon series Carnival Row on Saturday (July 27) when he was asked about his fiancée Katy Perry’s relationship with Taylor Swift.
Swift and Perry recently buried the hatchet, moving past their longstanding feud (and even sharing a slow dance together while dressed as a hamburger and fries in Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” video). Bloom revealed he’s all for it, telling USA Today, “When we live in a world where there’s so much conflict, we want peace and we want unity and we want everyone to get along and appreciate one another, so I’m all for the joy of union and happiness and people getting along.”
Bloom was also asked about whether or not he and Perry have set a date for their forthcoming wedding, and he offered a vague response.
“We’re in the wonderful process of doing all the very important and necessary loving and healing work to create a foundation that will enable us to be light workers,” he said.
