Olivia Rodrigo, who claims she’s the “biggest Swiftie in the whole world,” is having the best day after Taylor Swift announced she re-recorded Fearless.
Rodrigo reshared Swift’s announcement on her Instagram Story Thursday (Feb. 11), writing “I AM NOT OK.” The “Drivers License” breakout star posted a follow-up selfie of herself wearing a face mask while contemplating, “No like the thought of a re-recording of white horse.”
The 17-year-old High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star also gathered a small crew of her friends to perform an impromptu snippet of “You Belong With Me” on her IG Story, writing, “We r ready 4 fearless.”
“You Belong With Me,” “White Horse” and the other original songs from Fearless, plus “6 never-before-released songs from the vault,” will be featured on the new 26-song version of Swift’s first Billboard 200 No. 1 album and breakthrough full-length from 2008. Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is the first of six albums she’s re-recording and releasing following the acquisition of her master recordings by Scooter Braun.

The updated lead single, “Love Story (Taylor’s Version),” will be unveiled Friday. A snippet of it was used in a Match.com commercial directed by Ryan Reynolds back in December, but Rodrigo put her own spin on the fairytale power ballad.
Although Swift has not officially announced the release date of Fearless (Taylor’s Version), strange capitalizations in her note spell out “April 9th,” and Swifties are positing that it might be the record’s official release date.
The pop superstar has made clear how much she loves Rodrigo’s breakthrough No. 1 record “Drivers License” after she commented, “I say that’s my baby and I’m really proud” underneath Rodrigo’s Instagram picture of “Drivers License” sitting at No. 3 right underneath Swift’s top two Evermore bonus tracks on the iTunes chart.
“What is breathing,” Rodrigo joked in a separate, celebratory IG post highlighting Swift’s motherly message.
