Niall Horan has gotten together with some of his friends to remind us all to “unite by staying apart.”

The effort from the “Nice to Meet Ya” singer and Hozier has resulted in a rousing video in which a galaxy of Irish stars encourage us all to do our part to flatten the curve during the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘The Irish are known all over the world for being passionate, fun-loving and very patriotic people,’ the video begins, with footage of Horan and Hozier at home. “We may be a small country, but through our culture, our works, our spirit, and our resolve, we wield a lot of power on the world stage.”

Among the musicians appearing in the clip are U2’s The Edge, as well as Andrea Corr, Dermott Kennedy, members of The Script and Westlife, Gavin James and a number of Irish soccer players and golfers. The soundtrack to the video is U2’s “Where the Streets Have No Name.”

In the video, Horan and the rest of the Irish stars send their very important message of praise for first responders while suggesting you learn an instrument or listen to your favorite band while staying inside and physically distanced. The key hashtags for the effort are #UniteByStayingApart and #InThisTogether.
