Everyone knows Shaquille O’Neal is a legendary basketball player, but these days, he shoots to be your favorite DJ and producer. His Fun House parties have been hits at Miami Music Week and Super Bowl weekend. He’s performed at Tomorrowland, Lost Lands and other venues around the world, and now, he’s linked with two of the electronic scene’s biggest voices to unleash some musical madness of his own.

“BANG” is a serious onslaught with a heart of gold. It features masterful co-production from NGHTMRE and rowdy vocals from Lil Jon.

“I met Shaq for the first time in Las Vegas,” NGHTMRE is quoted in a press release. “He came to one of my sets, and we immediately got along and shared our love for bass music. I’ve always played tons of Lil Jon music in my live shows, and now I get to play our own collaboration. Being able to work on music with Lil Jon and Shaq was literally a dream come true for me.”

An emotional piano lead turns into an edgy synth as the tension builds. Lil Jon rasps over the beat, commanding the audience to not their heads when the brutal bass explodes.

“When it comes to dance music, NGHTMRE is my Larry Bird,” Shaq is quoted. “We spent a ton of time in the studio making ‘BANG,’ and I called up my favorite rapper in the game to lay a verse down – Lil Jon.”

“BANG” is out now on NGHTMRE and Slander’s label Gud Vibrations. Nod your head hard as f*ck to the track below.
