Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa rocked out and looked like they had an absolute blast for their recently released collaboration “Prisoner.” The duo’s chemistry flowed so naturally in the music video, it might come as a surprise that they only met last year.
While chatting with Ryan Seacrest on KIISFM on Tuesday morning (Nov. 24), the pop stars recalled meeting at the 2019 Met Gala. “We took a nap on Katy Perry’s hamburger,” Miley recalled. “She was dressed as this big hamburger and everybody was partying and having a good time and me and Dua went and rested our heads on Katy Perry’s hamburger.”
On their fun new song, Cyrus, who just turned 28 on Nov. 22, called the collaboration and its positive feedback the “greatest birthday gift ever.” The song will be featured on her highly-anticipated album Plastic Hearts, out Nov. 27.
