Miley Cyrus can’t stop talking about her upcoming remix of The Kid LAROI’s “Without You,” but her latest tease might have crossed the line. “Snuck into his car while he wasn’t looking and sent him this video,” Miley captioned a 12-second video she posted on Wednesday night (April 21).
In it, the singer goes incognito in oversized sunglasses and a fuzzy animal print hat as wacky music plays in the background and we see her apparently hiding in the backseat of the Australian teen singing sensation’s ride. After sticking out her tongue, the camera flips to The Kid scrolling on his phone and catching an image of Cyrus in his vehicle, then turning with a surprised smile to discover his stowaway.
Cyrus captioned the clip “…where are we going @thekidlaroi? BTW I think they want us to drop the remix. The second sneak at Miley’s upcoming remix of LAROI’s 2020 single “Without You” comes after Tuesday’s 20-second clip that blended the original over footage of Miley making faces as headlines about her dating life scrolled in the background.
“Miley Cyrus Romance Retrospective: All the Men and Women She’s Dated,” read one, “What Really Ended Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas’ Relationship,” screamed another. All the while, Miley, looking satisfied and confident, gazes into the camera as the Kid sings, “And I can’t take it back, so in the past is where we’ll leave it, huh,” before Miley takes over and makes the song her own.
“Without You” was featured on the deluxe SAVAGE version of 17-year-old sensation LAROI‘s F*ck Love July 2020 mixtape debut and has become a go-to soundtrack on TikTok. The dynamic duo have been slow-teasing the collaboration for a few weeks, with The Kid posting a cozy studio pic with Miley last month in which he chilled on the couch while Cyrus laid down vocals in the booth behind him.
