Miley Cyrus got her Smilers excited for new music when she released the first taste of her next era, the disco-tinged “Midnight Sky.” Now, the singer is making it official.

She announced on Friday (Oct. 23) that her upcoming album, Plastic Hearts, will be arriving on Nov. 27 via RCA Records. The project serves as a follow-up to her 2017 record, Younger Now.

Fans can pre-order Plastic Hearts here, and receive three instant grat tracks, including “Midnight Sky,” and her live covers of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” and The Cranberries’ “Zombie.”

At midnight, Miley shared a hand-written message to her fans, which explains the album’s long, painful gestation. “I began this album over 2 years ago. Thought I had it all figured out. Not just the record – its songs/sounds but my whole fucking life. No one checks an ego like life itself,” she writes.

“Just when I thought the body of work was finished it was all erased. Including most of the music’s relevance. Because everything had changed.”

Cyrus also unveiled the cover art, which was shot by iconic Rock & Roll photographer, Mick Rock. See below.
