Haitian DJ/producer Michael Brun is heating up dance fans’ Labor Day weekend with his brand-new single, “Spice,” out today (Aug. 31) via his own Kid Coconut imprint.
The bass-laced cut features swaggy vocals from Nigerian singer-songwriter Kah-Lo for an international feel that’s both bouncy and catchy.
“I met Kah-Lo a few months ago working in the studio with Mr. Eazi and loved her music and vibe,” Michael Brun tells Billboard. “We made ‘Spice’ a few weeks later in Brooklyn in a single session. Her flow and voice is iconic, and I’m hyped we got to work together on this! The song is all about embracing who you are and not worrying of what anyone else might think.”
