You ever walk by a beautiful stranger and see your whole life with them flash before your eyes? It might not be love, but it’s certainly something exciting, and you can let your imagination run wild to Martin Garrix and his buddy Justin Mylo’s bright, booming collaboration “Burn Out,” released alongside a fanciful music video today (Sept. 14).
The Dutch DJs and producers previously worked together on “Bouncybob,” which peaked at No. 28 on the Hot Electronic/Dance Songs chart in 2016. “Burn Out” is a fun and flirty end-of-summer jam with an uplifting dance-pop hook and a funky synth line. It’s big enough to rock a festival, but cute enough for a long car drive with friends. The music video tells the story of one man’s instant crush and the wild realities he paints in his mind before finding the strength to say hi.
Autumn may be quickly approaching, but you can hold on to the warm weather a little bit longer with “Burn Out” below.
