Maroon 5 revealed the track list for their upcoming seventh album Jordi on Monday (May 24), and it includes collaborations with posthumous artists as well as up-and-comers.
The album title, Jordi, pays tribute to the band’s late longtime manager Jordan Feldstein, who died in 2017. “We thought there was no better tribute than to name the album after our boy,” frontman Adam Levine told Ellen DeGeneres in April.
The album also shines a light on fallen rapper Juice WRLD in “Can’t Leave You Alone,” as well as Nipsey Hussle on the remix of Maroon 5’s Billboard Hot 100 No. 2 hit and tribute to Feldstein “Memories,” which will also feature Hussle’s dear friend YG. Maroon 5 also teamed up with upcoming Zimbabwean artist Bantu on “One Light.”
Jordi, which was executive produced by J Kash, will also include previously released singles “Memories,” “Nobody’s Love” and “Beautiful Mistakes,” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. Levine’s “Lifestyle” collaboration with Jason Derulo and “Button,” featuring Anuel AA and Tainy, will be included in the physical deluxe edition of the album, which will be available exclusively at Target.
Billboard exclusively revealed that Levine will return to The Voice for its live finale on Tuesday to perform “Beautiful Mistakes” with the band. Maroon 5 is also set for the “American Express UNSTAGED With Maroon 5” virtual performance on June 4, which will feature music from the new album.
Jordi will arrive on June 11 via 222 and Interscope Records, and can be pre-saved here. On release day, Maroon 5 will hit the stage for NBC’s TODAY Summer Concert Series to perform songs from Jordi. Maroon 5 is also heading on tour this summer, with tickets available here.
