Maroon 5’s ‘Girls Like You’ Tops Vevo’s Year-End List Of Most-Viewed Videos

Sebastian Yatra, Becky G and J Balvin also make the list.
Vevo released its list of the most-watched music videos and artists of 2018 on Tuesday (Dec. 18).

Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You” topped the global Top Artists list with 1.6 billion total views through Nov. 30 — besting Sebastian Yatra (1.5 billion), Becky G and Drake (1.4 billion), J Balvin (1.3 billion), Karol G (1.2 billion) and Ariana Grande (1 billion) — and also took the top spot on the global Top Releases list with “Girls,” thanks to 1.3 billion views through Nov. 30.

Vevo’s US Top Artist list was ruled by Drake, who racked up 490 million views through Nov. 30, followed by “Boo’d Up” breakout Ella Mai (337 million), Migos (301 million), Maroon 5 (299 million), Tyga (226 million), Rich the Kid (216 million), Childish Gambino (215 million), Post Malone (206 million) and Ariana Grande (198 million).

It was all Maroon 5 on the top 2018 U.S. releases, with “Girls” landing 250 million views, just ahead of Drake’s viral “God’s Plan” (246 million), Mai’s “Boo’d Up” (224 million), Tyga’s “Taste” (182 million), Gambino’s “This is America” (165 million), Malone’s “Psycho” (158 million), Migos’ “Walk It Talk It” (135 million), Drake’s “Nice For What” (134 million), Rich The Kids’ “Plug Walk” (115 million) and Grande’s “No Tears Left To Cry” (108 million).
