Maroon 5 has shared two major announcements with fans. On Monday (June 23), the band revealed that their eighth studio album, Love Is Like, will be released this summer through Interscope, and they will be heading out on tour to promote it.
“I feel like we’ve gone back to what we used to do, which is to not pay attention to where we fit and producing the music organically,” said frontman Adam Levine about the upcoming record, which is set for release on August 15. “This is kind of how we stuck out in the beginning when we first started our career.”
Alongside the news of the album and tour, the band also released their newest single, “All Night,” on Monday. On June 20, Maroon 5 hinted at both the new track and tour in a video shared on social media. In the clip, the lively song plays from a boom box shown in front of well-known landmarks across the U.S., such as Chicago’s Bean, the Beverly Hills sign in Los Angeles, the Space Needle in Seattle, and the San Francisco Bridge.
The tour, produced by Live Nation, will include 23 dates and start with a previously confirmed show on July 11 in Endicott, N.Y. Stops will include cities like Phoenix, Nashville, Houston, Atlanta, and Baltimore, before wrapping up on November 25 in Detroit. Fan club members can purchase tickets beginning Wednesday (June 25) at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for the general public will go on sale Friday (June 27) through the band’s website.
While the tracklist for Love Is Like — the successor to 2021’s Jordi — hasn’t been announced yet, a press release confirmed that the album will include Maroon 5’s collaboration with BLACKPINK’s LISA, “Priceless,” which entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 76.
