Thursday night’s (July 26) Twins of Evil: The Second Coming show on the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Canada was reduced to a one-man affair. Marilyn Manson canceled his portion of the co-headlining gig with Rob Zombie due to what the rocker’s Twitter feed said was an “unforeseen illness.”
Due to unforeseen illness, Marilyn Manson will not be performing tonight in Toronto, ON.
If you were in attendance specifically to see Marilyn Manson, your tickets will be available for refund at point of purchase.
Rob Zombie will perform as scheduled.

In a video from the show shot by a fan, a production member can be seen announcing Manson’s illness and telling fans who came specifically to see “The Beautiful People” singer that they can get a full refund if they leave the show immediately and turn in their tickets.
A spokesperson for Manson could not be reached for additional information on what ailment the singer is suffering from and whether it will impact upcoming dates, including an upcoming Aug. 1 gig in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tour kicked off on July 11 in Detroit; Manson had played eight dates before his illness.

Speaking to Billboard before the launch of the planned 30-date swing, Zombie said the second go-round for the hard rock tandem was a no-brainer. “We’re both from the same mindset of putting on a rock show,” said Zombie, 53. “We’re both rock stars. We were never from the world of guys in cargo shorts staring at our shoes.”
