Mariah Carey Teams With Apple For New Holiday Special 'Mariah's Christmas: The Magic Continues'

It’s only fitting that the Christmas Queen is getting her own holiday special. Apple announced on Tuesday (Nov. 2) that Mariah Carey will return to Apple+ next month with a new holiday special, Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues, which will feature guests spots from Khalid and Grammy-winning gospel great Kirk Franklin.

The trio will pair-up for the first and only performance of their new single “Fall in Love at Christmas.” The show is executive produced by Carey, along with Tim Chase, Charleen Manca and Matthew Turke of Supply & Demand; the special was directed by Joseph Kahn, who is also an executive producer on the show.

Carey recently released a limited-edition Loot Crate just in time of the holidays, which is crammed full of Christmas collectibles including gifting essentials, bakeware, ornaments and more.

The star’s perennially popular holiday hit, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” made its annual return to the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart back in November, launching at No. 29 on its way to No. 1. Nearly 27 years since its 1994 release, Carey also expanded the jolly melody into a range of Christmas content, from books to films.
