Everyone is always like, “No new friends,” but when a giant Diplo comes down from the sky in a dope Sgt. Pepper’s-esque jacket, you don’t see Sia and Labrinth not climbing into his outstretched hands.
Alright, that’s a weird sentence, but if you take a little LSD, it all makes sense. The acronymous supertrio composed of Labrinth, Sia and Diplo dropped its self-titled debut album, and to celebrate, it puts out a psychedelic music video for the latest single.
“No New Friends” is a good trip guaranteed to freak you out in all the best ways. Labrinth plays a little dude wandering in the candy-colored grasses who loves spending time in larger-than-life Sia’s palms. Diplo plays some kind of celestial god, and he eventually gets in on the fun. We’re ready to steal all these outfits for ourselves.
When he’s not playing a gentle giant, Diplo takes the stage as a Coachella performer. He was spotted hanging with K-pop sensations BLACKPINK backstage last weekend, so cross your fingers for some more cool collaborations.
