Louis Tomlinson stopped by The Late Late Show on Monday night (Oct. 28) to perform his new single “We Made It” and chat with his old pal host James Corden about the many odd things he’s accumulated for what sounds like a killer Hollywood museum.

Clad in a striped sweater and dark jeans and bathed in a glowing red light, the former One Direction star sounded angelic singing the single that’s a combined love letter to his girlfriend and thank you to fans. With his band cueing up the Oasis-like backing track, Tomlinson crooned the wistful lines, “Now we’re saying goodbye/ Waving to the hard times/ Knew that we would be alright.”

Earlier in the show, while chatting on the Corden couch with fellow guests John Lithgow and Doctor Sleep star Rebecca Ferguson, Tomlinson admitted to the audience that he once collected Hollywood memorabilia.

“I went for a moment in my life where I just bought a lot of stupid, silly things,” he said. The singer then shared his most prized possessions — one of the three leg braces from Forrest Gump and the sword from Kill Bill — which he bought on eBay.

However, he revealed that he has never taken them out of the box he bought them in. “No disrespect to Tom Hanks,” he laughed as Corden marveled at his restraint. The host and longtime 1D superfan then joked that if Tomlinson put his props on display in his hometown of Doncaster, England, it would be in the top ten attractions: “Tomlinson’s Movie Memorabilia House.”

Ferguson even chimed in to tease the British singer, telling him “This is when ‘We’ve Made It,'” to which Tomlinson replied with a joke rimshot sound effect.

“We Made It” is the latest single off of Tomlinson’s debut album Walls, which is set to drop on Jan. 31.
