Selena Gomez and Trevor Daniel dropped a pair of teasers for their upcoming “Past Life” music video on Saturday (July 11).

While the pop stars are absent in the two clips, the shots features a camera flying high above a desert canyon. “Last night was the last night/ Of my past life/ Got me here like/ You could never figure me out,” Gomez croons on the chorus as the video fades to a screen promising the visual is “Coming Soon” in red text.

Late last month, Gomez opened up about collaborating with the rising pop star on the remix of his 2020 single. “When I heard the song the first time, I loved the fact that it was kind of like a story about all the things that we tend to hold onto and the patterns that we have,” she said at the time. “And I’m very, very vocal about my personal experiences making decisions that aren’t necessarily healthy for me.”

The track serves as the second single to Daniel’s debut studio album Nicotine, while it also follows Gomez’s latest Rare single “Boyfriend,” which she released on the LP’s deluxe edition alongside bonus tracks “She” and “Souvenir.”
