Lizzo may have boy problems, but she doesn’t seem to have any boy band problems with new collaborators AB6IX. In what may be the most surprising collaboration of 2019, the rookie K-pop boy band has teamed up with the star to revamp her chart-topping “Truth Hurts” and prove that they are, indeed, that bad bitch.

Dropped late Monday night (Sept. 23, Sept. 24 in South Korea), Lizzo and AB6IX’s “Truth Hurts” was announced only a few hours prior to its release when the quintet posted on social media that they had collaborated with the record-breaking star.

The new variant, which follows several other remixed versions of what has become the longest-running Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 by a solo female rapper ever, features the members of AB6IX throwing in a few Korean verses about how they’re on the rise regardless of what others are saying, letting everyone know to anticipate them. Though surprising collaborators for Lizzo, the boy band fit seamlessly into the latest version of “Truth Hurts.”

“Truth Hurts” is AB6IX’s second single following their debut song “Breathe” in May, and precedes the release of the boy band’s first LP [6IXENSE] on Oct. 7.

Take a listen to Lizzo and AB6IX’s version of “Truth Hurts” below.
