In the same week Donald Trump bashed Lady Gaga online, the pop star’s father has come out swinging… in support of the president.
As the country went to the polls on Tuesday (Nov. 3), Gaga’s father Joe Germanotta made clear his political leanings.
He tweeted “@realDonaldTrump 2020”. And in another post, wrote “You may have noticed my political and spiritual beliefs are different. liberty and freedom of choice would not be political.”

Germanotta’s views run opposite to his famous daughter, who campaigned for the Democratic challenger at a drive-in rally in Pennsylvania on Monday and has proudly showed-off her Biden-Harris badge.
Earlier in the week, Trump took aim at “anti-fracking activist” Gaga and her preferred choice for the presidency.
Gaga’s response was anything but heated. “I LOVE THIS STATE. I’m here now! This place is filled with good hearted people—good hearted people that @JoeBiden loves. He’s a good friend. He’s the President this country needs to bring us back together,” she wrote.
Despite the efforts of Gaga and others, the presidential race still has another leg to run.
With millions of mail-in votes that have yet to be counted, a clear winner had not emerged by the early hours of Wednesday morning. That, however, hasn’t stopped Trump from prematurely declaring victory and casting doubt over vote-counting efforts as a “fraud”.
