Just one day after Kendrick Lamar’s surprise album “GNX” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the rapper revealed plans for a North American stadium tour with SZA in 2025.
The “Grand National Tour” will visit 19 stadiums across North America from April to June 2025. Tickets will be available starting Friday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. local time on grandnationaltour.com, with a special pre-sale for Cash App Visa Card holders beginning Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m.
Lamar shocked his fans on Nov. 22 by releasing his new album “GNX” without any prior notice. The album quickly reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, surpassing the “Wicked” movie soundtrack. “GNX” marks Lamar’s fourth consecutive No. 1 album and sold 319,000 album units according to Luminate. He also occupies seven spots in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, including “Squabble Up” at No. 1, “TV Off” at No. 2, “Luther” at No. 3, “Wacced Out Murals” at No. 4, “Hey Now” at No. 5, “Reincarnated” at No. 7, and “Man at the Garden” at No. 10. SZA appears on the tracks “Luther” and the final song “Gloria.”
