Kehlani released a new track titled “F&MU” and an accompanying quarantine-style music video on Thursday (April 30).
The R&B star’s new visual follows a steamy rendezvous between her and her partner — played by Jon Rabon — as they shelter at home together. In the video, scenes alternate between Kehlani and Rabon dancing choreographed routines in different rooms, including the kitchen and the bedroom.
Kehlani’s sophomore album It Was Good Until It Wasn’t is set to drop on Friday (May 8). It follows SweetSexySavage, which was released in 2017.
The music video for “F&MU” follows a string of visuals produced in quarantine style; each one is “self-shot and edited” by Kehlani, according to a press release.
Prior to “F&MU,” Kehlani dropped “Toxic” and “Everybody Business” off of her anticipated album. Her quarantine style visuals feature mostly solo scenes of the singer against the backdrop of her music.
