KKaty Perry sent her fans into a frenzy on Wednesday morning (March 4), when she teased her new “Never Worn White” video with a scene cradling a baby bump.

The tune, unveiled at midnight on Thursday, has Perry taking a more emotional tone than her recent singles, musing over a piano melody.

Directed by Paris pair J.A.C.K. (Madonna, Christine and the Queens), the video is equally ethereal with Perry looking like a queen in white. And very much like a mom in waiting.

On it, she sings: “‘Cause I’ve never worn white/ But I wanna get it right/ Yeah, I really wanna try with you/ No, I’ve never worn white/ But I’m standing here tonight/ ‘Cause I really wanna say, I do…I do.”

“Never Worn White” follows previously-released songs “Small Talk” and “Harleys in Hawaii.”

Perry wrote the piano ballad with Johan Carlsson, John Ryan and Jacob Kasher Hindlin, with Carlsson producing.

On that bump, Katy dropped another hint: “Let’s just say it’s gonna be a jam packed summer…”. Katy later confessed the bump, which we see in the music video, is 100 per cent real.
