Justin Timberlake experienced a wardrobe malfunction during one of his shows on his sold-out Forget Tomorrow World Tour. While performing at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on December 12, a tight-fitting harness mishap during his rendition of “Mirrors” quickly went viral.

A TikTok video, filmed by a concertgoer, shows Timberlake struggling to adjust his harness, which unintentionally drew attention to his groin area. In the clip, the Grammy-winning artist can be seen tugging at the bottom of his shirt to cover up further exposure. During the performance, he is seen singing while elevated on a suspended platform above the crowd.

The video has since amassed over 5 million views. Timberlake has not yet commented on the incident.

The Forget Tomorrow World Tour began in April. Timberlake announced the tour on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January. His sixth studio album, Everything I Thought I Was, was released on March 15, following the drop of the first single, “Selfish.”

The current setlist for the concert includes 29 songs, featuring a number of hits such as “My Love,” “Cry Me a River,” “Suit & Tie,” and “Rock Your Body” over the course of the two-hour performance.

This wardrobe mishap is far less controversial than the infamous Super Bowl halftime show incident Timberlake was involved in years ago. During the 2004 performance with Janet Jackson, he accidentally tore part of her top, exposing her breast, which was partially covered by a pastie. The moment shocked viewers, and while Jackson faced significant backlash, Timberlake avoided any serious consequences. He later apologized for his silence on the matter.

In 2021, after facing criticism for not speaking out earlier about both the Jackson incident and his role in the media frenzy surrounding his ex Britney Spears, he wrote: “I’ve seen the messages, tags, comments, and concerns and I want to respond. I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right.”
