Justin Bieber, future Shark? On Friday (Jan. 8), the superstar made a surprise appearance on ABC’s Shark Tank to co-sign an entrepreneur’s ergonomic office chair.

In the episode, CEO Bing Howenstein walked into the Shark Tank in an effort to gain funding for his company ALL33, and used a video message from Bieber to help make his pitch to Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, and co.

“Hey Sharks, I’m Justin Bieber and this is the ALL33; it’s the chair that moves like I do,” the pop star says in a pre-recorded clip midway through the presentation, while repping a baby blue t-shirt from his own “Drew” line. “I mean, guys, look at this perfect posture! I’ve got my chest up, my shoulders back, I’m ready for anything. If you’ve gotta sit, this is it.”

During the appearance, Bieber also shoots a basketball from the comfort of the ALL33 chair, and even removes his shirt to show off the fact that he can do a “full ab workout” while sitting in it.

However, not even an assist from the pop star could help Howenstein close the deal, with all of the Sharks ultimately passing on his request for a cool half million dollars in exchange for 2.5 percent of his company.

Meanwhile, when Bieber’s not endorsing office products in the Shark Tank, he’s been busy readying new music for 2021, releasing his latest single “Anyone” on New Year’s Day (Jan. 1) along with its cinematic, boxing-themed music video. The romantic track follows fellow singles “Holy” and “Lonely” in the lead-up to the star’s forthcoming sixth studio album, itself a follow-up to 2020’s Changes.
