Justin Bieber took to social media on Sunday (Jan. 5) to shout out a group of African kids performing an impressive (and adorable) dance routine to his new single “Yummy.”
“I see you,” the pop star wrote while retweeting a video of five joyful young girls dancing with cereal bowls in a nondescript dirt lot. According to their Twitter bio, the group, known as The Happy Kids, is comprised of orphaned, impoverished children living in Lagos, Nigeria who dance for food, education, shelter and welfare.
The Happy Kids’ clip adds to the “Yummy” dance challenge currently sparking its way across social platforms like Twitter and TikTok. The bouncy track serves as the lead single for Bieber’s first solo album in more than four years, though a release date for the follow-up to 2015’s Purpose has yet to be officially announced.
