Red Hearse, a new synth-pop band consisting of Jack Antonoff, hip-hop singer-songwriter Sam Dew and producer Sounwave, was unveiled Wednesday (June 26) through the release of two tracks: “Red Hearse” and “Honey.” They are both accompanied by looped visuals of a toy red hearse driving around a miniature town.

The songs are infectiously groovy with eccentric beats, falsetto vocals and catchy choruses. It’s a good sign for what’s to come on their self-titled debut, out this summer via RCA Records.

The forthcoming LP was entirely written, performed and produced by Antonoff, Dew and Sounwave. Laura Sisk, who has previously worked with Taylor Swift and Lorde, engineered the album. Though the project is LA-based, it was influenced greatly by the band’s respective hometowns of New Jersey, Chicago and Los Angeles.
