Pop star Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce may be heading in different directions, according to a surprising comment made by cornerback Patrick Peterson.
During an appearance on the GOLF’s Subpar podcast, Patrick was asked for his opinion on the relationship between the 36-year-old singer and the professional football player.
When asked if he thought their connection was “true love or a flash in the pan,” the footballer hesitated for a moment before responding, “flash in the pan,” although he added that he hoped he was wrong.
However, Travis Kelce’s representatives have pushed back against rumors about their supposed breakup, including a fabricated story about a ‘breakup contract,’ calling it “false and fabricated.”
A source close to Taylor Swift shared insights into her relationship, saying, “She feels safer with him than anyone she’s ever known; she knows he would do anything for her and physically she feels protected by him, and she loves that feeling. It’s a relatively new one for her, relationship-wise.”
“Travis is her protector in every sense of the word. He is going to make sure she is physically safe, and emotionally safe—he is not going to do anything careless or reckless with her.”
For those who don’t know, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce first sparked dating rumors in September 2023 when the singer attended one of Travis’s football games.
The couple confirmed their relationship in October 2023 after they were photographed holding hands at a Saturday Night Live after-party.
