Various parts of the country are beginning to open up again, but most live events are still on hold. Meanwhile, artists are staying busy providing entertainment for those who continue to shelter in place during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

With venues and bars shut down from coast-to-coast, here’s your guide to the best livestreamed music content right now, for the week of June 1. As additional events are announced for the week, we’ll add them to this list.

June 1: Brandi Carlile will perform the entirety of her album By the Way, I Forgive You to benefit her band and crew members. It will be the first in an ongoing series of album performances. The set begins at 9:00 p.m. EST, and can be streamed via

Katie Crutchfield is launching a new livestream series during which she will play Waxahatchee’s entire discography. “This idea was born as a way to help support my band & crew through this time where we’ve had to cancel & move shows thus causing a huge financial burden,” she shared in an Instagram post. The first show will feature the music of debut studio album American Weekend. The livestream will benefit indie promoters around the country; tickets are available here. June 2: Pearl Jam and the Black Eyed Peas are hosting the streaming premiere of Parkland Rising, coinciding with National Gun Violence Awareness Day. The livestream event begins at 8:00 p.m. EST; RSVP for it here.

June 4: American Idol season 10 champ Scotty McCreery is performing to benefit MusiCares. His set kicks off at 7:00 p.m. EST on the country singer’s Facebook page.

June 6: Lady Gaga, BTS and Barack Obama are set to give a commencement speech during YouTube’s “Dear Class of 2020” virtual commencement. The event will also feature appearances by Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, and more. The schedule will be announced May 17; the event can be streamed on YouTube.
